Osmosis is a naturally occurring process in which liquids spontaneously flow from a solution with a lower concentration (fresh water) to a solution with a higher concentration (such as seawater). Reverse osmosis is when the liquid flows in opposite directions between membranes.
Reverse osmosis equipment uses a high-pressure pump to pressurize the high-salinity solution side after the raw water passes through the pretreatment system, and uses a reverse osmosis membrane (RO membrane) with a pore size of 1/10000μm to force water molecules in a higher concentration (such as seawater) to flow through the membrane in the opposite direction to the lower concentration (fresh water) side. Finally, it is separated into extremely low-concentration water (that is, pure water) for use and higher-concentration water for discharge or resource reuse.
At the same time, Reverse osmosis equipment removes large particles, suspended matter, colloids, organic matter, taste, bacteria, viruses, heavy metal ions and other harmful substances in the water and 99% of dissolved salts. The system desalination is as high as 97% or more, and the conductivity of the outlet water reaches ≤10μs/cm.
